GLOBAL NETWORK VISION
Laser Light Communications will deploy an All-Optical Global Communications Network – HALO™ – providing Connectivity without Boundaries™ to existing infrastructure locations as well as remote and formerly unreachable locations around the world.
GLOBAL ACCESS
HALO supports Laser Light’s “Optical Satellite as a Service” (OSaaS) product suite – Global Access 100Gbps Circuits and its proprietary HALO Direct Connect Service – for global enterprises, data centers, media companies, financial institutions, carriers, and government entities.
SERVICE CAPACITY
The service capacity of the planned HALO constellation of 12 Medium Earth Orbit satellites is in excess of 33Tbps, comprised of 48 sat-sat 200Gbps optical crosslinks and 72 sat-ground 100Gbps optical bidirectional links, without reliance on regulated radio frequency spectrum.
GLOBAL SD-WAN
The HALO Global Network – satellite and SD-WANs – will be connected to Laser Light’s proprietary extended ground network and its patented StarBeam™ operating system, ensuring carrier-grade service, enhanced redundancy, resiliency, and unprecedented security – Connecting Continents™ in a whole new light.
SATELLITE BACKBONE
Laser Light’s proposed satellite backbone, HALO SpaceCable®, will interconnect over 100 customer Points of Presence clustered within 20+ SD-WANs around the world

Variable Global Optical Satellite Circuits (OSaaS)
Optical Satellite As A Service (OSaaS) delivers capacity at a significantly lower price point that equivalent terrestrial carrier services, but with the added flexibility to self-provision new circuits, or re-task underutilized circuits, to any Point of Presence (PoP’s) on the HALO network, irrespective of location – all under a single pricing plan
Global Direct Connect
On-Demand (ODaaS)
HALO’s “On-Demand” bandwidth service (ODaaS) provides an end-to-end, software-defined, standards-based transport layer, built over a global satellite constellation. The long haul satellite network is connected to 20 SD-WANs, which are themselves situated within high demand global regions, serving 100 PoP’s located at carrier-neutral data centers and customer premises.
“Beyond the Edge” Service
The HALO service makes high volume data available for the first time in remote areas previously served only by RF-based satellites with very limited throughput in comparison. HALO “Beyond The Network Edge” is an On-Demand service offered either by duration of connectivity, or by volume pricing. Charges are not calculated based on distance, route or destination.
